How do I choose the right career path when I feel lost and every option looks uncertain?

Start with what you definitely don't want - sometimes that's clearer than what you do want. Cross those off the list and see what's left. Try the "adjacent possible" approach: instead of trying to map out your whole career, just think about what reasonable next step would teach you something useful, regardless of where it leads long-term. Most people's careers zigzag anyway. Talk to people doing work that sounds even mildly interesting. You'll quickly learn what resonates and what doesn't. Sometimes a 15-minute conversation reveals more than months of online research. Remember that "choosing wrong" isn't permanent - most skills transfer between fields more than you'd expect, and changing directions gets easier once you have some experience under your belt. The biggest risk is often staying paralyzed rather than picking imperfectly and learning as you go.
